Theology on Tap - September 20

September 20th, 2016

This casual theological conversation/study with Pastor Clemmer meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7:30pm-9:30pm at Hopvine Brewing Co. at 4030 Fox Valley Center Dr. in Aurora.

The group reads and discusses selections from the writings of Luther and their Biblical foundations. Everyone is welcome-bring a friend! If you’re interested, please register here so pastor can get the reading material to you in advance and make sure we have enough seats ready at Hopvine.

In August, we began Luther's 1529 work, "On War against the Turk," which covers topics such as just war, vocation, two kingdoms, the Christian in the public realm, etc. This work provides a helpful approach for us today, especially as an election draws near. This month, we'll start at page 11, and try to get to page 25.
